PWN Wellness Rounds – From Recognition to Response: Building Shame Competence in Medicine
Physicians work in environments where high expectations, uncertainty, and mistakes can make shame a powerful—and often hidden—part of the experience of practising medicine. We are delighted to inviteDr. Will Bynum back for an engaging PWN Grand Rounds session that builds on his first talk about how shame shows up in medicine, and how it affects physician wellbeing and medical culture. In this talk, we will dive deeply into practical strategies to recognize and mitigate shame at both the individual and organizational level, helping to foster healthier and more supportive medical cultures. You do not need to have attended the first PWN Rounds session to benefit from this talk.
