Two dates to choose from: October 9 (Thursday) or November 20 (Thursday)
Time: 6:00 pm.
Location: Vernon Prestige Hotel.
Join us for an evening of painting and learning with this master storyteller through art. Come for the painting, stay for the stories! No art skills required — just bring your curiosity.
Born and raised in Vernon and a proud member of the Okanagan Indian Band, David Wilson Sookinakin is a celebrated Syilx artist whose vibrant, contemporary works are inspired by traditional pictographs and oral storytelling. Blending ancient forms with modern expression, his art shares the beauty, resilience, and evolving narratives of the Interior Salish people.
The sessions will be limited to 20 participants to allow David to interact with the group on a more personal level. Dinner will be served.
We will host additional sessions based on interest.
For Oct 9 session please RSVP by 2 Oct 2025.
For Nov 20 session please RSVP by 13 Nov 2025.
